Managing Newzie
WebPages

Newzie enables you to monitor conventional webpages for updates. Each monitored webpage is represented with the item called 'Webpage'. Webpages in Newzie is treated as a subscription, like a channel.

As in the case of channels, you can synchronize one webpage, or set its priority level in the sytem. Unlike channels, you can define what type of updates Newzie should look for.

In the context of Newzie, there are four different types of webpage update.

  1. Any change in the webpage
  2. Newly added text segments
  3. Newly added links
  4. Newly added images

You can make Newzie check any of these specific cases and notify you by highlighting new text segments and links.
